Community Guidelines

Welcome to the School of Traditional Skills Community!

This Community is here to provide you with:

  • Support and encouragement in your journey to a more resilient lifestyle
  • Occasional group challenges to keep you motivated
  • A place to ask questions you may have on various topics
  • Connections with like-minded people who just get it

...Plus much, much more!

We want to make sure it’s a safe space and remains a high-quality resource at all times for all members, which is why we offer these simple and evolving guidelines and strive to uphold them in all Community interactions at all times…

Be careful with link sharing

  • If you have a link to share with materials or resources, please provide helpful information about the link and let us know what it entails.

Be kind

  • We’re here to celebrate wins, help each other improve our skills, and create community. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Be hospitable

  • This is a safe and fun place where we support each other and share various experiences and stories.

Please be aware that any material you post may become public. (For example, for use in our testimonials.)

  • As with all online places, exercise care when choosing what to share, and err on the side of caution.
  • We try to reach out to members and students about usage of your testimonials, but as the Community grows, be aware that a post may be used for promotional content. If you do not want it to be used, simply let us know in the post.
  • Keep in mind that members may want to share your wins or helpful posts with other people outside of the Community as well. We hope you feel at ease here, as you would among family or loved ones - but if you don’t want it shared through the grapevine, it’s wise to avoid posting it.

The STS Community is a family-friendly environment for all.

  • Language, subject matter, and etiquette should be, in style and nature, as close as possible to acceptable to people of all ages, cultures, and beliefs.
  • Discussion of controlled substances and illegal activities is discouraged.
